First Sri Lankan Women Swimming Teachers Graduate

The first 3 ladies from the Aid Sri Lanka Swimming Project have qualified as STA (B) swimming teachers. Chris Fonfe said that she was really delighted with all 3 of her pupils who had worked very hard to study in their second language of English under the guidance of Sue Brown, an STA tutor who had volunteered to came out from England in order to qualify them. They also qualified in poolside rescue and resuscitation. The Project now has a total of four in-house swimming teachers and is looking forward to preparing more as soon as possible at their swimming facility in Weligama, on the south-east coast of Sri Lanka. Well done everybody!
